What this is, and who it is for
A physician group has to keep written policies (HIPAA privacy and security, OSHA, its compliance program, HR), review them on a schedule, and prove that every person who must follow a policy has read the current version. Today that usually lives in binders, shared drives and spreadsheets.
This tracker holds the policies, knows who must sign each one, and shows at any moment who is current and who is not. It is built so whoever runs compliance at the practice can keep it current in minutes, without becoming a full time administrator.
It stores staff names, job roles and dates. It never holds patient information.
