The dashboard answers one question
Is every required person signed up to the version in force today? The top of the dashboard answers in one line: "Not audit-ready yet: 15 signatures overdue and 2 policies past their review date." It only says audit-ready when signatures are actually required and there is no overdue signature and no policy past its review date. A draft that has never been approved is not in force, so it never counts against the verdict. Right now 84% are current: 231 of 275 required signatures, with 15 overdue.
Under the verdict, "What needs you this week" ranks at most five next steps: policies past their review date, drafts waiting for approval (a new policy whose signing rules are already set starts its signing clock the day it is approved), the version with the most signatures still outstanding and when its window closes, and the department and the person with the most overdue signatures. Each links straight to where the work is done. Only the compliance officer can clear a review or approve a draft, so everyone else sees those last, named as the compliance officer's work.
Signed ever is not the same as signed now. A signature on an older version stops counting when a policy materially changes, and annual ones (OSHA bloodborne pathogens training, for example) lapse after 12 months.
A bar stays at the top of every screen so you can come straight back to this step.
