Purpose. Everyone who works with or near hazardous chemicals knows what they are and how to handle them safely.
Inventory and safety data sheets. The laboratory supervisor keeps the chemical inventory, and a safety data sheet for every product is in the binder at the lab station and on the shared drive.
Labels. Every container is labeled. Secondary containers get a workplace label naming the product and its main hazard.
Training. At assignment, when a new hazard is introduced, and every year.
